How do you draw really shocked expressions? Like You just watched something terrible happen and you can’t exactly register it kind of shocked

Well, shock is a very primal response, and is for the most part very vacant, and holds the very basic initial response the person registers. 

A lot of the shock can be invoked through the almost disturbingly emotionless expression. You should be able to see how much tension is involved. 

Also shock can be more easily read when compared to the previous motion, as a sort of contrast. The biggest sense of this is through the pupils, how they mentally process the situation, and how they physically either act or recoil to the situation.
